Happy Friday! This week's JustRite Friday Challenge has been posted and it is to use this sketch:
Here’s my sample card, using JustRite's 3-1/4” Grandma’s Doilies and 2” Old Friends sets just released last week:
I used a center from Grandma’s Doilies and stamped it with Memento Angel Pink ink onto the upper part of my kraft card base, to create a subtle pattern:
This pretty sentiment from Old Friends was stamped with Memento Rose Bud ink onto kraft cardstock and die cut with Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities. It was backed with a pink Spellbinders Ironwork Motifs die cut (glittered), which is the perfect size for these 2-inch centers! Classic Scalloped Edgeabilities were used on the lower front edge of the card.
The seam binding ribbon started out light pink (the same color as the glittered die cut) and I added Copic Various Ink Refills in R81 and R22 to darken it a little, so it would match with the pretty Echo Park Victoria Gardens patterned paper better.
I hope you'll join me in this sketch challenge over the next two weeks and I hope you enjoy your weekend (stamping?)!
