Fall is finally in the air here in the south where I'm located and we're just beginning to see the warm, rich colors of Fall emerge! Today's JustRite Friday Challenge #040 is a color challenge -- The Colors of Fall! Here’s my bookmark sample, using JustRite’s new cling set, A Day in the Country:
I began by arranging all the cling stamps I wanted to use together on a long acrylic block (your new JustRite cling stamps will already be die cut for you –- these were just the first run samples I had to work with, which I trimmed myself):
I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock and then colored them with these Copic markers:
Next, I die cut the image with Spellbinders Long Rectangle Mega Nestabilities and while the cardstock was still in the die, I airbrushed the edges with Copic E30:
After matting my bookmark with scalloped die cut rust cardstock, I added some Fall color to the bottom of the stamped image by cutting a piece of Copic’s X-Press It Double-Sided High Tack Tape and covering it with Autumn mix Flower Soft:
I added some sparkle to the pumpkin and apples with Copic Clear Atyou Spica Glitter Pen (hopefully you can see the pretty sparkle if you click on the photo for a larger view):
You can find a LOT more JustRite and Flower Soft Colors of Fall inspiration over at the JustRite blog today AND if you enter the Friday Challenge, you’ll have the chance to win one of FOUR Flower Soft prize packages! I hope you enjoy the upcoming Fall weekend!
