JustRite will begin introducing CLEAR STAMP BLOCKS on June 1st! These blocks are the same great design as our wood blocks but make positioning your images a breeze! We will have more information about the clear stampers the week of June 1st.
All the JustRite designers are really excited today to share a never-seen-before project with you that they have in the catalog, and here's what I chose to share ... an 8-inch scrapbook page of my youngest daughter when she was 8 months old (back in 2003)!
I used JustRite's Times New Roman 95-point font for the M in "Months" word banner at the top and 50-point font to spell out the rest of "Months" and her name on the bottom tab (upper and lowercase). I think you all know much in love I am with JustRite's font ... I LOVE that I can customize projects with whatever wording I want and having two children with so many A's in their names would otherwise deplete a sticker or chipboard supply in a hurry!
When I first saw the Stitched With Love set, I knew I wanted to do a baby scrapbook page with it! And who could resist using stitching and buttons with this great set! Here's a closeup of how I colored it with my Copic markers, highlighted with some sparkly Copic Spica glitter pen:
I colored the pink buttons and added a real stitch in the centers of them, then used a real blue button for the "O" in "Button"! To frame it, I used Spellbinders Eyelet Pendant die -- I thought it would be the perfect girly touch! To highlight the embossed areas of the die cut, I left the paper in the die and sponged it with the same blue ink I stamped the rick-rack border with.
I hope you'll visit each of the other JustRite designers listed below on the hop, to see some fabulous inspiration AND I have another project over at the JustRite blog, so I hope you'll stop by there, too!
