Meet the new resident at our almost-complete new house! He (or she) has taken up residency on the back porch. I have no idea what kind of spider this is but he certainly does look ominous, doesn't he? Does anyone happen to know what kind he is? I'm off to do some Internet searching to find out. Meanwhile, I think I'll schedule an exterminator before we move in!
ETA: Many thanks to Kelly S, who answered my question very quickly . . . we have a female yellow garden spider! (Males are about 1-1/2" while females can grow up to 3" -- ours was very large!) She is not harmful to humans and will loose most of her bright yellow color after she lays her egg sack(s), dying soon after. Aww, I get a little teary -- reminded of Charlotte's Web, LOL! You can read more about them HERE.
It's been a while since I've answered any of your questions you posted for me, so how about a few of those today?
How many cards do you send out a week? Amber H.
Well, Amber – I need to get a lot better at this! I have hard enough time just making the time to stamp and once I do, it’s usually for design team work or publication calls. So I rarely get time to stamp for personal use any more. When I do, it usually takes me a few days to finally get something in the mail! Once my children start back to school in the Fall (they’ll both be going full days), I hope to get a lot better at this!

Do you like wood mounted or acrylic stamps better? Sarah
Sarah -- until about 6 months ago I had only used wood-mount stamps. But since I’ve started using clear stamps, I’ve really been enjoying them. I find they are not near as troublesome as I thought they’d be to mount each time I want to use them and I love being able to see thru them, to see exactly where I’m stamping. Another bonus is the storage space!
.
What would you do to set up a craft area if you were unable to have an entire room for yourself?
Well I’m about to find out, as we’re starting to move into our new house this weekend and I’ll finally (for the first time) have a whole room to myself! I’ll certainly be sharing new room photos, once I get it all set up.

What is your favorite quote? Here is mine “Always remember three things in life, be kind, be kind and be kind”. jodene
That’s a great quote, Jodene! I have two, actually, and I think they kind of go hand-in-hand, so I’ll share them both:
“Live, Laugh, Love” has always been a favorite, meaning simply no worries and just enjoy life to the fullest, as it is TODAY. And to go along with that, a famous quote from a fictional southern belle (Scarlett O'Hara): “Tomorrow is another day”. . . so if you do happen to run into any worries, don’t worry, it will all be better tomorrow!

Since the annual Stampin' Up convention starts this Wednesday, I'll be able to start posting the samples I created for the display boards, so check back in to see cards, scrapbook pages & 3D items using new sets from the new catalog!
